This month’s film is “The Farewell别告诉她” directed by Lulu Wang in 2019. “别告诉她” literally means “Don’t tell her.” The film is based in part on director Wang's life experiences. It was screened in the US Dramatic competition section at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
