As we look back on this year, the Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville (CAAN) has provided continuous online and in-person events for the public. We kept our thoughts positive and were vigilant about COVID prevention. It has been a rather challenging year for everyone, including CAAN.

We are looking forward to a brighter future and anticipate hosting our Chinese New Year Celebration in person, on Saturday, February 5, 2022.  CAAN will come back with a roar with the Year of the Tiger events!  Mark your calendar.

Today, we are asking you to "BELIEVE in the power of the Arts & Culture'' and support the Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville (CAAN).  CAAN promotes the awareness, understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of the Chinese visual and performing arts. CAAN supports the community by providing workshops, classes, and dance performances to schools and other institutions.

Other CAAN events and programs:

Monthly: Film & Discussion Online, Chinese Dining Adventure

Bimonthly:  Culture and Art Making videos distributed through our YouTube Channel

Weekly: TaiChi at Metro Parks, a traditional Chinese low impact exercise for health.

CAAN's performing groups include Dragon Dance Team, Lion Dance Performing Group, Dance Nashville (Chinese Dance Group), Contemporary Dance Group, Chinese Group Drumming, and Student Lion Dance Program.
