Mission:

Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville is established to promote the awareness, understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of the Chinese visual arts and performing arts.

What we do

-Creative dances that fuse East and West arts
-Traditional Chinese dances include Chinese dances, dragon, lion dance and drumming
-Chinese arts & cultural educational program (calligraphy, crafts, language tutoring, Taiji)
-World Taiji & Qigong Day
-Food events: Chinese New Year Banquet, Celebrate Moon Festival with Dim Sum, and monthly Chinese Dining Adventure

Booking:

CAAN accepts booking of our dance presentations, Chinese lion dance & drumming, dragon dance performances, seminars, workshops, and visual arts exhibit.

History

Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville (CAAN) was chartered in December 30th, 2002, and was officially recognized as 501 (C) 3 arts organization in 2003.

Build is inspired by the building of our city, and the dance extends to how we fit into and build our society and community.
